really good staff comfortable bed home comfort
I found the staff to be really good. They all seemed to enjoy their work. the bed was comfortable (i slept like a log). i found many home comforts provided. the rain shower was particularly enjoyable. I found it hard to leave.
i booked the room well in advance, but no one informed me that the restaurant was small, so i couldn't book dinner. breakfast felt limited, and refills were not offered, leaving something to be desired. the tea was lukewarm. the grazing table seemed bare.

The staff were so kind and helpful, I felt cared for. Breakfast was delicious with excellent coffee. I loved the classic fare. I also enjoyed the Pig Biscuits the chef makes, they were AMAZING!!!
The room felt cramped, climbing narrow stairs was not ideal. There was nowhere suitable to put large cases for proper unpacking. I found this disappointing.
